Designers no longer agree that a chat box is the right default
UI/UX Design
- Designers no longer agree that a chat box is the right default shape for this software.
- One side says chat is still right after trying the alternatives, and that habits from the assistant now shape every product.
- The other calls the text box a tax on thought where the plan gets lost, and wants input to fit the task.
- The defence and the attack are one argument, and these essays, talks and job listings have not settled it.
